About this Event
Discover how agrivoltaics, the strategic combination of solar energy and agricultural production on the same land, can support renewable energy development while helping maintain Colorado’s working lands. Allison Jackson of the Colorado Agrivoltaic Learning Center (CALC) will share Colorado examples, discuss the opportunities and challenges of agrivoltaic development, and highlight CALC’s work in education, community engagement, technical assistance, and policy. Attendees will also learn how to get involved through volunteering, advocacy, educational events, site tours, and other opportunities to support agrivoltaics across the state.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER
Allison Jackson is the Education and Policy Manager at the Colorado Agrivoltaic Learning Center. She leads education, policy research, and statewide engagement with agricultural producers, local governments, utilities, researchers, and community partners to advance practical, community-centered approaches to agrivoltaics. Drawing on her background in environmental science and ten years as a secondary science teacher, Allison translates technical research and policy into accessible resources that support renewable energy development and the preservation of Colorado’s working lands
