Reuven Cohen, known online as rUv, will present in person at a free Agentics Foundation meetup in Austin on Tuesday 17 November, sponsored by Cognitum One, Inc. He created the open-source agent tools Ruflo and RuView, founded the Agentics Foundation and is Founder and Chief AI Officer of Cognitum One. The evening centres on AI that organisations run on infrastructure they control, as an alternative to routing data, models and spending through a few large cloud providers.
What is happening and why it matters
The Agentics Foundation will host rUv for a three-hour evening session at 1101 S Capital of Texas Highway, just west of downtown Austin. The session will cover agent orchestration, persistent memory, sovereign AI, edge intelligence and the emerging discipline of agentic engineering. Admission is free, and the evening is sponsored by Cognitum One, Inc.
The sovereignty argument
rUv's company, Cognitum One, describes the first wave of enterprise AI as one that moved data, models and control to a handful of cloud providers. It says the next wave spreads AI across public cloud, on-premises systems and low-power edge hardware, with the customer setting policy and every decision recorded.
