About this Event
Not just for M**der mystery fans...
You don't need to be an Agatha Christe fan to enjoy this walking tour as there are many often overlooked things to see and discover along the way.
This year marks the anniversary of 50 years since Agatha passed in January 1976 and 100 years since her traumatic disapearance in December 1926.
We'll take a meandering route though Covent Garden and Theatreland via quieter roads and backstreets to see where some of Agatha's earliest works were staged, where the longest running production continues to pull in the crowds (more than the 70 years as shown in my pic above!), and where Agatha made one of her last public appearances at a film screening attended by the late Queen. We'll also look at a sculptural piece that commemorates her life and the locations that inspired her novels.
Along the way you'll hear a wider story about Agatha's early life and achievements, her husbands, her travels abroad, her various homes, the characters she created, and that disappearance – a mystery in itself!
- The tour lasts approx 2hrs and starts midway between Holborn and Tottenham Court Road stations.– the specific meeting point will be supplied after ticket purchase – please see the FAQs below
- We end our walk near Piccadilly/The Ritz/ Green Park tube station.

My guiding style is inclusive, open and friendly. I design and research every tour myself – in fact, the research never ends. The walks and talks I offer are all on subjects that intrigue me and each one highlights a different facet of my personality. I am particularly interested in the architecture of our ever-changing streets and the little details on and above them. For more information, please visit www.janeslondonwalks.com
