About this Event
Afterbirth Cartoons with Julian Brooks and The Church of Jade + Overthinking at Winters Tavern
Space Tapes Records presents Afterbirth Cartoons' Very Special Episode Tour at Winters Tavern in Pacifica on Saturday, November 14 — a free night of live music with Oakland's Julian Brooks and The Church of Jade and Overthinking. Music starts at 8:00pm.
Julian Brooks and The Church of Jade — a seven-piece Oakland post-punk / indie rock band (lead vocals, backing vocals, two guitars, bass, drums, keyboards) — are riding a loud fall: a headline set at Mayes Oyster House in San Francisco on October 23, a live session on KALX 90.7 FM Berkeley, and the full Mayes performances rolling out on the band's YouTube channel now — "The Mystery," "The Pie," "Fire In Me," and a cover of Interpol's "Obstacle 1." Dark, danceable post-punk built for rooms exactly like Winters.
Winters Tavern, 1522 Francisco Blvd, Pacifica, CA. Free.
