Come experience the more intimate side of Emerald Coast Storytellers—face to face, pen to paper, fingers to keys.As we continue to grow our presence along the Emerald Coast, we’re excited to host the next installment of our After-Hours Writing Night in Fort Walton Beach. What began as a first gathering is now becoming a space for consistent creativity and community here in this area.
No matter where you are in your writing journey, this event is for you. We’ll gather upstairs at Beyond Expectations with our pens, journals, and laptops — ready to talk shop, workshop ideas, and dive into works in progress or start something new. The evening will begin with a brief welcome, followed by dedicated writing time and optional prompts, and will close with an opportunity to share, connect, and inspire one another. There is a full kitchen available, feel free to bring your dinner or snacks with you!
November's theme: The Extraordinary Is Already Here:
The Gulf of Mexico had the wave the whole time. It just needed the right storm- and someone willing to wait for it. We live beside something we underestimate every day. This theme is about what's possible right where you already are, if you're willing to look long enough to see it.
What's right in front of you that you've been underestimating?
Please RSVP so we can get an accurate headcount.
