About this Event

Process your birth experience and find support in this free, gentle postpartum recovery & birth debrief class from After Birth by YourCherish. This session is designed for anyone navigating postpartum recovery — physically, emotionally, and mentally. It provides a safe space to slow down, reconnect with your body, and make sense of your birth journey.

Birth doesn’t end when the baby is born.
Many people feel physically fine but emotionally unsettled. Some replay parts of their birth experience and aren’t sure why. This conversation offers a supportive environment to process those feelings, normalize the experience, and gain tools for recovery.

What you’ll learn in this class:

  • How the body and nervous system recover after birth
  • Emotional and physical aspects of postpartum healing
  • Gentle movement and ways to reconnect with your body
  • The postpartum “experiment”: discovering what supports you without pressure
  • Birth debriefing: why sharing your story matters
  • How to practically support a new mother without overwhelming her

Who is this class for:
Anyone who has given birth—your experience matters, regardless of how your birth went. Partners and support people are also welcome to attend and learn how to offer practical, steady support.

Format:
Free, interactive class with guidance from experienced postpartum professionals. The session combines discussion, reflection, and gentle techniques to help you feel supported and prepared for your ongoing postpartum journey.

Why attend:

  • Gain understanding of the physical and emotional recovery process after birth
  • Learn practical tools for yourself or to support a new parent
  • Connect with other parents navigating similar experiences
  • Take part in a safe, non-judgmental, and evidence-informed environment
