In partnership with the Langston Centre, the Appalachian Futurism Project will host a community conversation event on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 5-7 p.m. The goal is to foster discussions around what it means to be an Appalachian and how generations can work together to shape a shared future. Results of the community conversations will directly influence AFP's priorities and upcoming project design. All voices are welcome, and attendees are encouraged to drop by anytime during the event. Light refreshments will be provided.
Some example discussion questions may include:
What does it mean to you to be an Appalachian?
What does the future of Appalachia look like to you?
What is something you wish people knew about Appalachia?
