About this Event
Join us for a special “Super Insaka” as we celebrate 10 years of the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx) and a decade of building connections, collaborations and opportunities between the University of Oxford and partners across Africa.
Taking place on 30 October 2026 from 15:00–17:00 at the Life and Mind Building (LaMB), South Parks Road, Oxford, the event will bring together members of the AfOx community, colleagues, collaborators, students and friends from across Oxford and beyond.
Over the past decade, AfOx has brought together researchers, scholars, institutions and communities, creating opportunities for meaningful collaboration and strengthening partnerships between Oxford and Africa.
Through a series of short and engaging talks, our speakers will reflect on the AfOx journey from different perspectives – sharing stories of collaboration, opportunity, transformation and impact, while looking ahead to the possibilities of the years to come.
