About this Event
This year’s AGM will bring together colleagues, members and partners from across the independent advice network to reflect on our achievements, explore the challenges ahead and shape the future of advice. With technology, artificial intelligence and digital transformation changing how services are delivered, we’ll ask an important question: how can we embrace innovation while keeping people, human judgement and access to justice at the heart of everything we do?
📅 Thursday 19th November
⏰ Registration from 9: 15 am. The event will finish by 2 pm, with complimentary lunch included
📍Riddell Hall, 185 Stranmillis Rd, Belfast BT9 5EE (on-site car parking available)
Attendees will hear from experts and practitioners exploring the role of AI in the advice sector, including how technology can support advisers in their work and how to navigate potential risks and challenges.
The AGM will also feature highlights from Advice NI’s annual report, alongside interactive workshops exploring key issues such as welfare, debt, anti-poverty, digital exclusion, housing and immigration. Together, we’ll consider what needs to change, identify emerging priorities and help shape Advice NI’s manifesto for the future of independent advice in Northern Ireland.
Join us as we look ahead, exchange ideas and work together to ensure independent advice remains sustainable, safe, rights-based and ready for whatever comes next. We look forward to welcoming you for a day of conversation, collaboration and networking.
