Advanced III — Near-Native Fluency & Complex Topics


This course will take place in the Richard Hoggart Building, Room TBC

Course Description 

Advanced III is the highest level in the programme. It focuses on mastering near-native fluency, discussing complex global topics, and expressing deep, analytical viewpoints. 

This Course is Ideal For: 

  • Learners with 2500+ words 
  • Students aiming for HSK 5+ / near-native proficiency 
  • Professionals, researchers, or long-term Mandarin users 

What You Will Learn: 

  • High-level vocabulary for technology, global issues, ethics, culture 
  • Debate, negotiation, and advanced argumentation 
  • Understanding long conversations, lectures, and reports 
  • Writing and speaking with professional-level coherence 
  • Cultural and sociolinguistic nuances in communication
