Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) is a standardized, evidence-based course designed to improve the early assessment and management of burn patients during the critical initial hours following injury. This multidisciplinary course brings together prehospital and hospital providers, promoting a consistent, team-based approach to burn care across the continuum. ABLS emphasizes rapid recognition of life-threatening conditions, effective decision-making, and timely interventions that significantly influence patient outcomes.

Through focused lectures, case-based discussions, and scenario-driven learning, participants develop a systematic approach to airway, breathing, circulation, burn size and depth assessment, fluid resuscitation, and patient disposition.
