The grown-ups are plugging in on Oak Street. 🎸The School of Rock Metairie/New Orleans Adult Band is playing the 18th annual Oak Street Po-Boy Festival on Sunday, November 8. Every musician on that stage is a School of Rock student. These adults have been working on these songs all season through weekly lessons and band rehearsals, and this is where it all comes together.
Some of them had barely touched an instrument before they joined. Now they're playing a festival stage in New Orleans. That's what School of Rock does, for students ages 4 through adult.
