About this Event
Looking to get creative and have some fun? Join us for in-person art workshops led by the talented Sue Gascoyne at Hale End Library!
Sue's sensory-rich work has been exhibited throughout London and East Anglia. Sue uses textiles, painting, mark-making, sculpture, mixed-media and interactive installation to explore relationships and wellbeing. Sue was a finalist in VAO25.
Greatly influenced by her role as a mother and child therapist, sustainability and care are evident throughout Sue’s art and the workshops and art sessions she runs.

Session 3 - Memory Stitches
Many of us will have things which are stained, torn, tired and worn but hold precious memories which make it hard to part with them. This gentle session of stitching will provide a safe space in which to remember while we stitch, repair, embellish and celebrate these treasured items, be it a stained Baby gro or childhood toy. Bring with you your treasured item and receive support on how you can respect and transform this with colourful stitches or beads.
