Every child is unique, and every family finds its own rhythm.Understanding the ADHD Brain is a psychologist-led, four-week group for parents and carers of children in Kindergarten to Year 6 who have a formal ADHD diagnosis. It's a space to learn more about how ADHD affects everyday family life and explore practical strategies alongside other parents.

🕥 Thursdays, 10:30am–12:00pm (5, 12, 19 and 26 November)
📍 Suite 1.01/32 Delhi Road, Macquarie Park (near North Ryde Metro, with on-site visitor parking)
👨👩👧 A small group of up to 8 families, the same group across all four weeks
☕ Sessions run during school hours, just for the grown-ups
WHAT WE'LL EXPLORE
Week 1: Understand the ADHD brain: executive functioning, self-regulation and how everyday tasks can feel different for children with ADHD
Week 2: Strengthen connection: co-regulation, emotional safety and positive interactions
Week 3: Practical ADHD strategies: routines, reinforcement, consequences and organisation
Week 4: Build for the future: emotional regulation, problem-solving, repair and your family action plan
Each session combines information, discussion, and practice, with opportunities to ask questions and consider how strategies might apply to your family. You'll put together a family action plan to take home.

FEE
$500 per family for all four sessions, for up to two parents or carers. Medicare rebates do not apply. We discuss payment and cancellation arrangements with our team before booking.
