About this Event
ADDA is an Indian cocktail experience, hosted at Astro Cocktail Bar in London. Not Indian-themed, not fusion for fusion's sake. Real Indian flavours, made from scratch, built into proper cocktails. One ticket, all five drinks included.
Each drink is a different moment in an Indian day, from the first calm of the evening to the wedding at the end. The music builds as the drinks do.
Come with people or come on your own. You won't be on your own for long.

SUKOON, the calm
Dry, a little sea-salty, quietly sharp.
kokum, salt, vodka, prosecco
CHORI, the theft
Sharp, savoury, and the taste of an Indian summer.
raw mango, cumin, kala namak, bourbon
NAZAR, the evil eye
The string that hangs in every Indian doorway. Bright, sharp, with spice on the rim.
nimbu, green chilli, jaggery, tequila and mezcal
DAWAI, the remedy
The sourest thing in the Indian pantry. Bitter, medicinal, and worth it.
amla, ginger, black pepper, vodka
SHAADI, the wedding
The sweet at the end of every Indian celebration, paired with the country's most-consumed spirit.

📍 The venue
We're doing this at Astro Cocktail Bar in London. The room's ours from 2 pm till 6 pm, and the bar is on even after that.
👋 Who's behind it
I'm Oom. I grew up in India, spent twenty-two years there, then came to the UK and learned to bartend properly.
An adda is a long, unhurried evening where people lose track of time. Good drinks, good company, nobody in a rush. That's the thing I missed most, and it's what this is built around.
