Unwind, connect, and learn to paint your own acrylic “Still Life” canvas among friends, neighbours, and fellow art lovers at Say Hey House. Whether you’ve never touched a paintbrush or are refreshing your creative skills, this cozy, screen-free workshop is designed for all levels!
What is Still Life Painting?
Still Life is the art of bringing everyday objects like fruit, flowers, books, or vintage glassware to life on canvas. It's also a beginner-friendly way to master light sources, colour theory, and composition IRL.
In This Workshop, You Will:
- Master Acrylic Fundamentals: Learn step-by-step brush techniques, paint layering, and colour mixing.
- Paint a Renaissance-Inspired Piece: Walk away with a completed canvas artwork for gifting or decorating
- Build Confidence & Skill: Explore guided creative techniques in a relaxed, supportive setting.
- Connect & Unwind: Enjoy a warm, upbeat atmosphere meant to spark genuine conversations and new friendships.
What’s Included:
- All painting supplies provided (canvas, acrylic paints, brushes, palettes, and aprons).
- 2 hours of hands-on, step-by-step instruction.
- Your still life artwork to take home.

- Coming Solo? You’re in great company! We are looking to meet cool creatives like you.
- What to Wear: We provide aprons, but recommend wearing comfortable clothes you wouldn't mind getting a little paint on.
