About this Event
During this one-hour session, Andrew will cover an update from the Auditing Standards Board and discuss recently issued and effective Audit Standards. The session will also highlight recently issued and effective Accounting Standards Updates (ASUs), with a focus on the standards most likely to affect a wide range of entities and practitioners.
Andrew Merryman, CPA, is a Senior Manager with the Center for Plain English Accounting (CPEA) at the AICPA. At the CPEA, his primary responsibilities are responding to member technical inquiries, assisting with preparing and presenting webcast materials, assisting with CPEA firm training, and writing monthly technical reports. In addition, Andrew assists with CPEA sessions at various conferences throughout the year. He is a co-host for the AICPA’s monthly A&A focus webinar series.
Community Bank & Trust Wealth Management office is located at 1711 Lake Success Dr., Waco, TX 76710. Lunch and networking begin at 11:30 am followed by CPE at 12 pm. We ask that you save the parking spaces near the door for any bank customers. There is plenty of parking around the building.
