ABODES is a five-piece Rochester band playing original rock and roll that balances power, softness, and freedom. Fronted by an expressive vocalist who performs instinctively and physically, the band moves fluidly between driving rock and indie textures, with some soul-leaning moments that can still or rile an entire room.
Songs often unfold in unexpected ways, beginning sparse or slightly disorienting before opening into groove-heavy sections, soaring guitar leads, and full-band release. While the songwriting carries depth and emotional weight, the focus live is presence and fun. ABODES’ shows are designed to pull people out of their heads and into a shared moment of celebration.
With high-level musicianship across the band and a strong live identity, ABODES delivers performances that feel alive, intentional, and engaging.
