About this Event
Join us this October for ImReady2026 in Oakland, CA. For eight years, we've curated and organized this conference to bring together brilliant community members to learn what is happening in our communities and how we can come together to make change.
This year we are asking community for your support in helping us fill a $350,000 gap. This year, political attacks, shrinking institutional funding, and rising community need have created a $350,000 gap. Yet, despite these challenges, we are relentlessly showing up for survivors and creating a space for our community to be inspired and to recharge together.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
As an organization dedicated to ending gender-based violence in ANHPI communities, we are hosting this event, in part, to amplify Domestic Violence Awareness Month. We invite our community of survivors and allies to join us for a full day of powerful healing and wellness offerings, community connection, and nourishing food catered by James Beard-recognized Chef Nora Haron.
The day will feature deep conversations with tireless community leaders and changemakers who are actively challenging and reimagining industries to end inequalities against women, girls, and gender-expansive communities. Every attendee will also have access to healing and wellness offerings provided by some of our most dedicated women-led practitioners. Together, we will offer acupuncture, Kado, watercolor, self-defense, and more. Each attendee will also receive survivor safety tools provided by our signature program Rooted to Rise.
This event is designed for survivors, allies, and anyone looking to expand their connections and toolkits for change.
