About this Event
Join Emma Bond at Honey & Co Studio for an evening of playful printmaking inspired by the colours, flavours and ingredients of the Middle Eastern pantry.
As the evenings draw in, we’ll think about dressing the festive table for the winter season. Creating little details that make gathering around the table feel special, whether you’re hosting friends, sharing food with family, or simply making space for good food and good stories.
Using a mix of handmade and pre-cut printing blocks and stamps, we’ll create a collection of printed paper goods, from place cards and gift tags to napkin bands, cards, and decorations.
We'll draw inspiration from seasonal ingredients and winter botanicals: pomegranates, citrus, herbs, spices, and winter foliage, printed in a rich, warm winter palette on beautiful paper.
We will experiment with pattern, colour, and layering, as well as making a simple printing plate to take home and use again.
No previous printmaking experience is needed, just come ready to play, make, and create something lovely to take home.
What’s included:
- A collection of pre-made printing blocks and stamps to experiment with
- The chance to make your own simple printing plate to try and take home
- A selection of beautiful papers in neutral and wintery tones, from textured and tactile to smooth and crisp
- Quick drying inks in a rich festive winter palette
- Ribbons and string for tags and garlands
- Printed instructions to help you recreate your designs at home
- A bag to safely carry your work home
You’ll make:
A mini collection of printed table stationery, including:
- Place cards
- Gift tags
- A napkin band
- A small card
We will print a selection of pieces to create your own paper garland.
