About this Event

What is driving the rise in loneliness, anxiety, and polarization in our local community? What would it look like to put families and neighborhoods first? What does common good pluralism as a path forward look like?

Co-Hosted by Bethany Legacy Foundation and Capita (a national think tank), this town hall invites Jefferson County, Indiana, citizens to sit alongside elected officials, civic leaders, partners from various sectors (such as education, arts, nonprofits, employers, the faith community, retail, law enforcement) and you — Jefferson County citizens — sitting alongside each to ask hard questions and imagine new possibilities together.

Bill Barnes (Community Foundation of Madison and Jefferson County), Teresa Brown (Madison Consolidated Schools), Matt Chandler (Entrepreneur), Liz Cooper (Freedom Center), Bob Courtney (City of Madison), Valecia Crisafulli (BLF & Madison Main Street Program), Carol Dozier (NKDH), Cara Fox (Entrepreneur), Clarissa Guillen (La Casa Amiga), Amanda Harsin (Ivy Tech Madison), Debbie Kroger (Hanover Town Council), Ron Lee (Jefferson County IN), Pastor Harvey Leggett (Broadway Baptist Church), Beth Lewis (Olde Tyme Marketplace), Tammy Monroe (County Council Elect), Kim Nyberg (Madison Area Arts Alliance), Eric Phagan (Artist), Diane Richey (RSVP Jefferson County), Robyn Ryle (Professor of Sociology & Gender Studies), John Staicer (Historic Madison Indiana), Sarah Stephens (Indian Kentuck Baptist Church Food Pantry), Erin Thomas (LifeTime Resources), Rev.
