Taste of France is a special one-night-only dinner taking place on October 15th, in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh’s French Nationality Room Committee.
Proceeds from tonight’s dinner will directly support the University of Pittsburgh’s French Nationality Room scholarship, offering a Pitt student the opportunity to study abroad in France. Help open doors to the world, promoting international education while enjoying an incredible meal.
This benefit dinner will include additional opportunities to support the scholarship, including a Vin Mystère/Mystery Wine auction and a 50/50 cash raffle. Come ready to win!

A LITTLE ABOUT THE NATIONALITY ROOMS
The University of Pittsburgh's renowned Nationality Rooms are gifts from the ethnic communities who helped to build Pittsburgh. Dedicated in 1943, the French Nationality Room is one of 31 rooms commemorating the cultural heritages of the communities who supported and planned their construction.
Each room is supported by a committee of community volunteers whose dual mission is to promote intercultural activities here in Pittsburgh and to raise scholarship funds to provide opportunity for international study. This work is rooted in the belief that a global experience enriches the academic journey, broadens perspectives, and cultivates a community of scholars committed to making a positive impact in the world.
A LITTLE ABOUT CKPGH
Community Kitchen Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides culinary training, transitional employment opportunities, apprenticeships, and job placement services. Its programs are designed to meet participants where they are, helping them connect with stable, higher-than-entry-level positions in the culinary and adjacent industries that offer opportunities for wage progression and long-term professional growth.
