About this Event
The event will feature an intimate performance by 7-time GRAMMY nominee Curtis Stewart, playing new work . Following the music, Stewart will sit down with composer, conductor, and Next Fest founder Peter Askim to discuss his creative process and attempt to expand the classical music canon.
Guests will enjoy delicious light fare, wine, prosecco, and a bespoke signature cocktail (and mocktail!) perfectly paired to Stewart’s music.
Every ticket directly supports The Next Festival’s mission to provide early-career string players, composers, and choreographers the chance to attend a world-class festival at a price they can afford. As Askim notes, we never "fund our work on the backs of young artists" — which is why we rely on the incredible generosity of friends and donors like you to make this program a reality.
Doors open at 4 PM, and performance begins at 4:45 PM.
