About this Event
Ashley Guénette is a Franco-Ontarian multidisciplinary artist whose practice moves between two seemingly opposing worlds. On one side: the algorithms of social media and the insidious ways they enforce oppression. On the other: the forests of Northern Ontario, a space of refuge where buried truths slowly come to light. Through painting, drawing, and soft sculpture, her work explores the interplay of colour, form, and emotion — inviting viewers into a world where nature and personal expression beautifully converge.
