This short documentary follows two young musicians in Queens and explores the power of jazz, mentorship, access to music education, and community.
We’re incredibly grateful to the Newburyport Documentary Film Festival for selecting the film, to Jazz Empowers and Central Queens Academy for trusting us with this story, and especially to Zoya and Ezekiel for sharing their experiences with us.
I’ll be attending the World Premiere and can’t wait to experience the film with an audience for the first time.
