RetroFizz celebrates the music that rolled on the radio without rocking— Mancini and Bacharach, Bossa Nova, movie themes, British invasion ballads, Brill Building tune-smithery and some surprise musical mash-ups. RetroFizz is comprised of music scene veterans with decades of experience in dozens of bands of every style imaginable.
“Like a crisp, ice-cold poolside tea on a hot summer day, RetroFizz refreshes the soul. The nightingale vocals of Ariel Donahue paired with dreamy background harmonies of Jimmy Kennedy, Mo Engel, and Joe Weismann capture the intoxicating essence of a blissful elevator ride in the early 70’s during mom’s afternoon department store shopping spree. Each song is a treasure from the past you didn’t know you needed to hear and yet you are thrilled having heard it. Sparkling with ethereal effervescence, RetroFizz is an incredibly nutty gas!!” - Vic Volaré
