A Little Human! is a Copenhagen-based quartet featuring Jason Shooster (guitar), Laurits Høgel (piano), Tomas Raae (double bass), and Johan Dynnesen (drums). The four musicians are active on both the Danish and international jazz scenes and regularly perform with artists such as Jacob Fischer, Kira Martini, Thomas Fryland, and Clarice Assad.The quartet released their debut album, A Little Human! in March 2025, showcasing a vibrant blend of original jazz manouche and swing compositions, enriched with Eastern European folk influences and a touch of Nordic cool.
Rooted in tradition, their music is delivered with a fresh and timeless sound, bringing energy, and virtuosity to the stage. Their second album, Generations, was released in July 2026 and continues the group's exploration of original jazz music shaped by a wide range of cultural influences.
