In the spirit of Linus and his timeless reminder of what Christmas is all about, we're bringing you a holiday celebration that embraces both the heart and soul of Christmas—with a little Joe Cool attitude thrown in!
Inspired by the timeless jazz compositions of Vince Guaraldi, A Joe Cool Christmas blends the sounds of jazz, soul, R&B, funk, and pop into a fresh and exciting holiday concert experience.
From the nostalgic melodies of the Peanuts Christmas classics to the soulful artistry of Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, and the sophisticated sounds of Grover Washington Jr. and Amy Grant, this musical celebration honors the artists and traditions that make Christmas special.
Leading the festivities is powerhouse vocalist Gena Chambers, joined by an exceptional collection of musical friends and talented musicians. Expect soulful vocals, sophisticated jazz arrangements, infectious grooves, holiday favorites, and plenty of musical surprises!
