Join us for A Glimpse of India: Diwali Celebration, a free, family-friendly community event featuring talented local artists and performers, interactive cultural activities, a traditional diya lamp craft, and local South Asian vendors offering food, cultural goods, and more.
Whether you celebrate Diwali or are simply curious to learn more about South Asian culture and traditions, everyone is welcome to come together and enjoy this vibrant community celebration.
Admission is free, and the event is suitable for all ages. Advance registration is encouraged.
This annual community event is presented in partnership with the Rang South Asian Arts and Culture Society, Central Vancouver Island Multicultural Society, Vancouver Island Bhangra, the City of Nanaimo, and the Nanaimo Museum.
