Join us for the story of a tragic incident that happened on June 10th, 1898 at the corner of Alix & Bouny Street where police clashed with a trio of the most violent criminals that Algiers had produced in that era. Our neighbor, John Hirt, will be guiding us along this journey presenting historical evidence (discussion, pictures, props) of a forgotten story that happened right here in our neighborhood (one block away from Nomad Used Bookstore!).
