In a maelstrom of discourse about looksmaxxing and the manosphere, join three authors adept at crafting nuanced, thought-provoking stories about men of all ages: from George Kemp’s gentle and precise coming-of-age novel about grief and community Soft Serve (set in a rural Maccas during a bushfire), to Andrew Pippos’ Transformations, which deftly chronicles a complicated romance between two journalists against the fading glow of Australia's print journalism era, to host Michael Winkler’s highly anticipated second novel Griefdogg about a man who decides to live his life as the family pet.
Offering emotionally complex male characters capable of strength and change, and exploring masculinity without headlines or didactic conclusions, you’ll find your next favourite novel in this heart-expanding session with three of our most considered writers.
