About this Event
This presentation of the award-winning multidisciplinary Slovak artist Petra Stefankova will cover her artistic journey with an emphasis on free drawing and painting practice and how her travels to the UK have influenced her authentic art and complex self-image building. She will further discuss art in healthcare and the impact of artistic activities on human well-being through the optics of her personal experience.
The event will include:
· Talk of the artist with a slideshow of images
· Free copies of her book A Drawn Life
· Screening of short films Animated Paintings and Humanity
The presentation A Drawn Life will take place in the Prince Philip Room at the RSA House. The event is free to attend and open to Fellows, artists and creators and anyone interested in visual art.
