A Different World is back — and we’re watching together!
Join DJ C. DeVone, Howard University alum and experience curator, for a special Atlanta watch and dinner party celebrating the return of the iconic series that helped shape how generations saw HBCU life, culture, friendship and Black excellence.

Come early, grab dinner and cocktails, meet fellow alumni and fans, and get settled before we head back to Hillman.
The evening will feature the A Different World reboot trailer + Episode 1, HBCU and A Different World trivia, music by DJ C. DeVone, dinner and cocktails, and a little conversation about HBCU culture — then and now.
Alumni and friends from Howard, Morehouse, Spelman, Clark Atlanta and HBCUs across the country are invited, along with the broader Atlanta community. You don't have to be an HBCU alum to join us. If A Different World meant something to you, there’s a seat for you.
