Gather your favorite people for A Dickens Christmas Tea at The Historic Abbey on Sunday, December 13, 2026.
Settle in beneath The Abbey’s stained glass for seasonal savories, festive sweets, and loose-leaf tea prepared by Solace Catering Group. Live carolers bring familiar Christmas songs to life, while a visit from Scrooge adds a little mischief to the occasion.

A taste of the season
Morning and afternoon tea feature mini ham croissants, cucumber and turkey finger sandwiches, smoked salmon toast points, and cheddar-and-fig-jam phyllo tartlets. Enjoy eggnog scones and crumpets with clotted cream and berry jam, followed by gingerbread, Victoria sponge, and macarons.
Evening tea offers a heartier variation, with holiday salad and miniature turkey pot pies in place of turkey finger sandwiches, alongside the other savories, scones, and sweets.
The children’s menu includes grilled cheese and turkey finger sandwiches, an eggnog scone, a macaron, gingerbread, fruit and berries, and hot chocolate.
