Speaker: Mrs Elizabeth Wheeler is the area coroner for Sefton, St Helens & Knowsely, since her appointment in March 2026. She started her career specialising in healthcare regulation before diversifying her practice to include crime and extradition. She has a specialist healthcare advisory and regulatory practice, which includes inquests, court of protection work and mental health law. In this lecture she will share how to communicate concepts from anaesthesia and intensive care medicine, with statements and oral evidence, along with identification of what is and isnt helpful within the coronial process.
Meeting: This will be a face to face meeting only.

Lecture & Dinner: £15
Please note we are now charging a small nominal fee of £15 to all those attending for dinner (including LSA members). This is non-refundable so please do not book for dinner unless you know you can attend. This is due to rising costs, increasing numbers of last minute drop outs, and so we can organise catering more accurately.
There will be a LIMITED number of places for Dinner - early registration advised.
