A Philadelphia-raised, community-minded superintendent leading Bethlehem Area School District's transformation. Join us as Superintendent Lajara talks about his vision for the district, what he's learned in his first months on the job, and how he wants the community involved in shaping BASD's future.
We sit down with the district's new head honcho as the 2026-2027 school year gets underway. He'll discuss his vision for student achievement, career pathway programs and initiatives, student and staff wellbeing, and the importance of investing in public education.
Join us Thursday, September 24th at Freedom High School in the auditorium from 6 to 7 PM for this live discussion. We also encourage people to submit their questions for the new superintendent to be asked during A Community Conversation: Meet Superintendent Dr. Renato Lajara.
