Welcome to Run From Prostate Cancer
Get ready for the 9th Annual 5K Walk/Run with us! Whether you're a walker or a runner, all levels are welcome at Run From Prostate Cancer.
Our annual 5K Walk/Run is a great opportunity to meet new friends, crush your mileage goals, and continue to fight against Prostate Cancer.
What to Expect:
• A welcoming and supportive environment for walkers and runners of all paces.
• The chance to crush your mileage goals and set the tone for 2025 Fall.
• A post-celebration will follow where you can relax, connect with others, and celebrate your 5K accomplishment (WIN)
• Local vendors; Garden of Earth + more!
• Hydration and Wellness provided by; Coco5, Waterloo, Northwestern Comprehensive Cancer, and U of C

About Us:
At Run From Prostate Cancer we've served the African American and Latin American males in several underprivileged areas for over 9 years.
We are a nonprofit organization that dedicates our time and services to the communities across the Chicagoland area.
Our mission is to educate, raise awareness and to prevent Prostate Cancer in the Black and Brown communities across America, as the mortality rate is almost 3 times higher than the Caucasian race.
This summer season and during prostate cancer awareness month (September) we are aiming to raise $250,000 to fund the opening of the Run From Prostate Cancer Health center.
