About this Event
The Sunset Stroll & Concert on Top of Arabia Mountain has become a tradional pre-event preluding the Stonecrest Fest.
THIS YEAR WE ARE FEATURING...
Solomon Osayi is a storyteller rooted in the tradition of rhythm and soul. He’s an immersive performer and songwriter, getting his start performing at open mics as a teenager in Madison, Wisconsin. When he was 19, he opened for Peabo Bryson and Patti LaBelle at a concert at Morehouse College. He’s a multi-disciplined artist who has been expanding his craft in Atlanta for the past four years, drawing audiences in through an offering that resonates no matter the room.
If you must, leave work Early on Friday, October 2nd and relieve the stress of the work week at Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve. Bring a pillow, lawn chair, blanket or just grab a natural seat on the mountain. But first, we will meet at the Nature Center for Refreshments and Health tips.
Mix and Mingle about healthy discussions. Then take a short 15 minute stroll to top of Arabia Mountain for a Sunset Concert.
This Ranger Lead event will help you learn about the treasures on the mountain as well as how to respect, appreciate and preserve this great gift from nature. This is a FREE event open to all ages.
More House School of Medicine will be joining us on the ground to talk about health initiatives and a wellness talk with Platinum Wellness Spa is also featured. We will be serving Refreshments. Then, we will go to the top of the Mounain for the Concert. (LIMITED SPACE) .
