73Foster Grand Opening

Join REACH Community Development as we celebrate the grand opening of 73Foster, our newest affordable housing community in Southeast Portland.

We invite community members, partners, funders, elected officials, and supporters to join us as we mark this important milestone and celebrate the collective effort behind this new community.

We are grateful to Holst Architecture, Walsh Construction Co., Metro, the Portland Housing Bureau, Oregon Housing and Community Services, and the many community partners whose vision, expertise, and investment helped bring this project to life.

As we celebrate the opening of 73Foster, we're also taking the first step toward stocking the community food pantry for future residents and neighbors.

Please consider bringing a nonperishable food donation to the event, such as canned goods, shelf-stable proteins, rice, pasta, or other pantry staples. Donations will help fill pantry shelves and provide a welcoming resource for the community from day one.

Just one block from its sister property, 72Foster, the development brings 64 affordable apartment homes to the community, including 22 Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) units for individuals and households transitioning from homelessness. The community includes a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments designed to serve people with a range of housing needs.

Developed through strong partnerships with APANO, Community Vision, and El Programa Hispano Católico, the community helps ensure residents have access to housing, supportive services, and meaningful community connections. El Programa Hispano Católico provides on-site case management for PSH residents, while REACH offers resident services and programming for all tenants.
