The 7% are being called together.Approximately 7% of people have O-negative blood — a blood type whose red cells can play a critical role in emergencies when a patient’s blood type is unknown, as well as in certain transfusions involving newborn and infant patients.
7% For All™ was created to mobilize that small but incredibly important donor community.
On Saturday, October 17, 2026, we’re launching the movement with the 7% For All Founding Blood Drive in Las Vegas.
This is the beginning of something much bigger.
In 2027, 7% For All will launch The 7% Day — an annual blood-donation observance held on the seventh Saturday of every year, with the long-term goal of achieving official state and national recognition.
O-negative donors are the heart of this movement.
If you’re O-negative, we want you there.
If you’re another eligible blood type and want to donate alongside us, you are absolutely welcome too.
