Real-World Responses to Common & Uncommon AttacksSunday 6th December 2026 | 13:00–16:00 hrs | Southampton, UK
Join PTTA Guro & TRICOM Instructor Mark Tucker for an intensive three-hour seminar exploring 64 different attack scenarios and the principles, concepts and responses that can be applied when dealing with unpredictable real-world confrontation.
This isn’t about learning 64 separate techniques for 64 different attacks. Instead, we’ll look at how a smaller number of functional principles can be adapted across a much wider range of problems—developing the ability to recognise, respond and adapt when an encounter doesn’t unfold exactly as expected.
WHAT WE’LL COVER
• 64 attack scenarios — common and less predictable attacks
• Footwork, movement and positioning
• Managing distance, timing and pressure
• Striking, clinch and close-quarter considerations
• Responses from different angles and positions
• Edged-weapon considerations
• Simple, functional responses under pressure
• Awareness and decision-making
• Developing the right mindset under pressure
• The difference between training techniques and developing adaptable skills
The emphasis throughout the seminar will be on practical training, transferable concepts and functional responses rather than simply collecting techniques.
THE OBJECTIVE
Recognise the problem.
Move with purpose.
Respond appropriately.
Adapt when the situation changes.
The seminar brings together concepts and training methods from Pekiti Tirsia Tactical Association, TRICOM and C360 Protector in a practical training environment.
