Following a long tradition at the University of Michigan, the 63rd Warren Cook Health and Safety Discussional is a full-day discussion with prominent leaders in the fields of industrial hygiene, occupational health nursing,safety engineering, epidemiology, and ergonomics. Discussion sessions are directed byUniversity of Michigan faculty and all participants of various career stages engage in ahigh level of rich exchange and discussion. The Discussional offers a unique opportunity to safely share sensitive and critical information about issues of contemporary interest with peer professionals. Recent and current participants providequestions and topics of interest which are the basis for the cutting-edge discussions.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and mentor industrial hygiene graduate students from the University of Michigan. Student résumé books will be available forattendees interested in hiring interns or full-time industrial hygiene professionals.
Who Should Attend
Attendees are typically professionals whose job responsibilities include addressing, managing or developing policies to govern occupational health, safety and environmental issues in their organizations.
Accreditation
This program expected to receive approval for approximately 0.55 CEUs for the 2026 course.
Fees
$275 Early bird registration until September 19, 2026.
$300 Regular registration after September 19, 2026.
Registration fee includes course materials, continental breakfast, refreshment breaks and lunch. A certificate of completion will be awarded when attendance requirements are met.
Cancellation
Cancellation notification must be received no later than September 28, 2026 in order to qualify for a refund, less a $75 administrative fee.
