You're cordially invited to join us for a celebration of community, collaboration, and compassion at our 5th annual "Full Bellies, Empty Bowls" fundraiser! Local artisans have generously donated unique, handmade ceramic bowls that we will fill to the brim with delicious soup. You get to keep the bowl you select as a memento of the event. Our venue, Society Hall located at 72 Meeting Street, will be filled with the joyful sounds of music and laughter.Purchase your ticket in advance as we may sell out. Guests who buy their ticket at the door (assuming there are still tickets available) will get a handmade bowl only after everyone who pre-purchased their tickets have selected a bowl, and only while supplies last.
Every dollar raised at this event directly supports The Stone Soup Collective, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We're a dedicated group of volunteers who come together weekly to prepare nourishing soup for our neighbors facing food insecurity. Our mission is made possible thanks to the generous donations of produce from our community partners, including GrowFood, The Green Heart Project, The Charleston Parks Conservancy, James Island Outreach, and the College of Charleston Sustainable Agriculture program. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church for generously sharing their kitchen facilities with us. With the incredible support of our friends and partners, we make every dollar stretch a long way in our efforts to nourish our community.
If you'd like to attend but find the ticket price out of reach, please each out to us at Renee@TheStoneSoupCollective. We understand that there are many ways to reciprocate. Please email [email protected] or call 310-995-1582 if you have something you'd like to contribute to our silent auction.
