Event Overview
The 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh at Vinyasa Yoga Academy combines 200-hour foundational training and 300-hour advanced training into one complete residential programme. The standard course runs for 59 days, with customised 30-day and 35-day options available.
The programme is designed for adults who want to build a strong foundation in yoga, deepen their personal practice, and develop advanced professional teaching skills. It combines practical sessions, theory, teaching practice, self-study, and supervised practicum.

Daily Learning
The daily schedule includes silence meditation, pranayama, Ashtanga Vinyasa, anatomy, alignment and adjustment, self-study, yoga philosophy, and Hatha Yoga. Weekly sound healing and kirtan sessions are also included, along with a Sunday excursion or free day.
Accommodation and Inclusions
The residential programme includes accommodation, three vegetarian meals daily, study materials and books, yoga mats and props, weekly workshops, excursions, and free airport pickup from Dehradun Airport. Students also receive a Vinyasa Yoga Academy 500-hour completion certificate.

Certification
After successfully completing the programme, students receive a 500-hour completion certificate and become eligible to register as RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, subject to Yoga Alliance requirements.
