In this 5-week monitored (non instructional) session, participants may use the studio for hand building or throwing. Studio Access includes 25 lbs of clay and a shelf for storage, use of glaze as well as bisque and glaze firings. Any additional cone 6 clay may be purchased through the VAE Clay Studio. Participants must be ages 18+ and have taken a multi-week clay class at the VAE studio (our one day “try it” courses do not qualify). All pieces fired in the VAE kilns must have been produced in the VAE studio using VAE clay, no items produced elsewhere using non-VAE clay are fired nor permitted at the studio.
