About this Event

🎬 Step Onto the Red Carpet


The Canadian Cultural Mosaic Foundation invites you to the Red Carpet Screening & Awards Night for the 2026 Anti-Racism Arts Festival's 48-Hour Film Challenge.

After an intense weekend of writing, shooting, and editing, local filmmakers will premiere their original short films (3–5 minutes) on the big screen. These films tackle themes of anti-racism, identity, resilience, and community—sparking important conversations through the power of cinema .

This is your chance to:

  • Watch exclusive premieres of films created in just 48 hours.
  • Support local filmmakers and see their creative vision come to life.
  • Cast your vote for the Audience Choice Award.
  • Celebrate with the community as we announce the winning teams!



🏆 Prizes & Awards

A panel of local judges will select the top films, with winners receiving:

  • 🥇 First Place: $300
  • 🥈 Second Place: $200
  • 🥉 Third Place: $100

Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote for the Audience Choice Award.
