Join us for our new 3rd Friday Ceilidh, hosted by Kat Greene and featuring LIVE music! WHAT IS CELIDH?
Ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) is a traditional Scottish or Irish social gathering featuring lively folk music and group dancing. Ceilidh dances follow specific patterns and are led by a “caller" that walk participants through the moves. The dances are performed to traditional jigs and reels played by a live band.
WHEN WILL THIS BE?
Kat will host the Ceilidh dancing on the THIRD Friday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $20 per person, or free for Candela members (also free for those who haven't yet used their 2 "free trial" classes/events)
WILL THERE BE LIVE MUSIC?
Yes! Kat, whom you may know as a Hula instructor, also plays in a Celtic band! You will be able to dance to their live music 🙂
DO I NEED A PARTNER?
No! Most people come without a partner. You also don't need any experience - Kat will teach you everything you need to know!
