Scrapmania has finalized our 6 Hotel Crop dates at the Best Western Hotel. All dates are also posted on our Facebook page under the events tab. Our crops are lots of fun and let you escape to get away from the hustle and bustle at home! Join us for 3 4 ot 5 days (5 day option only offered at the September crop) work on any crafty project! ALL types of crafts and crafters are welcome! Come solo, with a friend or bring your whole craftin' crew! Register early, so you know we have plenty of room!
We hope you can join us for at least 1 of our 6 hotel crops this year! The hotel is located directly across the street from our 13,600 sq ft mega store, so its super convenient! It is NOT WALKABLE though due to the VERY BUSY street between us.
HOTEL ROOMS ARE REQUIRED, AND MUST BE BOOKED WITH THE LINKS BELOW! DO NOT BOOK OUTSIDE THESE LINKS!! If the link is not working, please call the hotel directly at (319) 377-6386. Tell them you're croppin' with Scrapmania to get our special $115 rate for 1 King or 2 Queens. They have a microwave, fridge and Keurig in EVERY ROOM, an x-large exercise facility, pool and hot tub. PLUS you can crop ALL NIGHT LONG, perfect for you crazy night owls or early risers!!! Most crops elsewhere stop at midnight!
Each cropper is given 6 foot of crop space! You may bring a small side table, 3 ft or less BUT IT MUST fit in your area and NOT impose on your neighbors OR be in the walkway! One $12 voucher WILL be provided for you to use at the on-site Mexican restaurant El Viejo, use it anytime during the crop. Choose lunch, dinner, drinks or anything in between anytime! That way we don't overwhelm them with a huge amount of guests at once, but we are still able to support another small business. Their food, drinks and staff are amazing! Breakfast is included with your hotel room and other meals will be on your own. This hotel does not have a catering service, and its tricky with allergies, so on your own is easiest for all. Scrapmania will provide a well stocked snack table. There is free coffee water and tea in the main lobby. You are welcome to bring a snack to share, but it is not required! We'll also have ice water by the snack area.
We strongly urge you to get registered for these crops before they fill up! If you have crop questions please call Stacy's cell at 319-721-7300. Stacy is GONE til Feb 2nd so PLEASE call or text after that date, thank you!!!
CROP CANCELLATION FEE of $50 per crop event up until 2 weeks prior to each event. No refunds within 14 days of the event, as I have already committed our final numbers to the hotel. You can switch to a different crop the same year, if there is room, with NO fee. That swap must be done through Stacy directly, please DO NOT register twice, it doesn't allow changes. Sorry, no exceptions on cancellation fees, thank you for your understanding! We are charged processing fees on your registration and again on your refund, thus the fee. Hotel cancellations are seperate and are direct through Best Western Plus and their rules apply as well.
