About this Event
The Ruskin Road Repair Cafe takes place on the last saturday of the month (except August and December).
To make a booking please select a ticket in the appropriate repair catagory at one of the available times of your choice.
Please book one ticket per item to be repaired.
We may need to contact you for more information about your repair, to assess if it is repairable, inform you of how to prepare your item for repair, what to bring with you to the session and confirm that we have a repairer available for your item.
Booking will close on the Thursday before the cafe. If there are no more tickets available then we are already fully booked for that session.
Please note:
- We are not able to repair any petrol driven equipment or microwaves.
- Any vacuum cleaners must be emptied.
- Kitchen equipment should be washed.
- All clothing should be washed where appropriate.
- If you have the instructions for the item you have booked in please bring the instructions along with you.
- Booking of a ticket is not a 100% guarantee of a repair slot.
- If you are more than 10 mins late for your booked slot it may not be enough time complete the repair or there may not be a repairer available.
- We are run by volunteers so it is possible that due to illness or unforseen circumstances we may be short staffed on the day which may affect your repair. We will however do our best to accommodate pre-booked repairs over walk-ins.
