Take your diving to the next levelThe PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course is the natural next step after your Open Water certification.
Designed to build confidence, improve your skills and introduce you to new types of diving, this course allows you to gain valuable experience while exploring some of Tasmania's most spectacular dive sites.
Despite the name, you don't need to be an "advanced" diver to enrol. If you've completed your PADI Open Water Diver Course (or an equivalent certification), you're ready to continue your diving journey.
Upon successful completion, you'll earn your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification, allowing you to dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres.
During your course you'll complete:
- Peak Performance Buoyancy: Improve your trim, buoyancy control and air consumption while becoming a more relaxed and efficient diver.
- Underwater Navigation: Learn to confidently navigate underwater using natural references and a compass.
- Night Diver: Experience the underwater world after dark and discover marine life rarely seen during the day.
- Deep Diver: Safely plan and complete dives to 30 metres while learning about deep diving procedures and considerations.
- Boat Diver: Gain confidence entering, exiting and diving from one of our purpose-built dive boats.
